Park Memorial Bench Program

Commemorative Benches:

  • Benches provide a quiet spot for reflection, a place to remember loved ones who have passed away.
  • For a contribution of $2,335.00, the Parks and Recreation Department will:
    • Install a park memorial bench in the park. Please see attached specifications and pricing detail.
  • Benches are subject to location determined by the Project Manager and/or Public Works Supervisor.  

How to Request Permission:

  1. Write a Polite Letter:
    • Address the property owner respectfully.
    • Clearly state your purpose: seeking permission for a memorial bench.
    • Your contact information.
    • Send to the attention of the Borough Manager at East Petersburg Borough 6076 Pine Street, Suite A, East Petersburg, PA 17520
