The East Petersburg Historical Society will be holding their first meeting of 2019 on Monday, March 4th at 7pm in the Community Building at 6051 Pine Street. The guest speaker will be Dolly Martin, discussing early settlers of the Curtis Charles farm area, located on Leabrook in EP. The Michael Kauffman family settled there in the 1730s, and later on, the area was known as the Isaac Stoner farm and appears on the 1853 map as such. Dolly is the daughter of former EPHS president, Willis Kilheffer, so please help us welcome her….all meetings are open to the public, and are informal and free of charge.
